Erick DeCastro is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of GEM Wealth Management. Erick also serves as GEM Wealth Management's OSJ manager. Erick is a 2003 graduate of Merrimack College School of Business and International Commerce with a BA in finance.

“Oh yeah, I always had a restorative hour after working a shift,” says Erick Castro. “An hour before closing, you are still going full speed behind a bar. It’s not like you can flip a switch after that and go right to sleep. Everyone needs a period to de-escalate, and I did that with music or a book.” Castro is a force of nature.

Erick began his career at a private investment firm, where he functioned in various capacities. He worked closely advising his clients and also managed a team of financial representatives.

Erick delivers a personalized client relationship and works one on one with his clients to create, develop and pursue sound financial plans for their future based on their unique situation. Erick prides himself in the level of service he provides and his commitment to his clients. His focus on personal values and priorities allows him to build a financial process that helps address each client’s exclusive needs.

Erick resides in the suburbs north of Boston with his wife, Melanie, and their two children, Ava and Mateo. Erick is an avid supporter of the Portuguese community, while participating in various charitable endeavors. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Dracut Soccer Association. During his free time, you can usually find Erick with his family, playing sports or enjoying the New England outdoors.
